Like the new format, great idea
do you think splitting it up works? people said they were too busy to watch 10 minutes?
dont have the answer, but one thing is you had a distinctive and innovative format which a certain tech site with thousands of users use to watch so the rub off effect was a a decent ammount of views. As bitesize interviews they might be seen as too similar to interviews already on the blogs so less distinctive from blogs own brand.
Personally i wold have dropped 1 or 2 items from the longer show to make it shorter (6 mins) and more achievable to make regularly. Also speed up the cuts and delivery would help.
everyone agree releasing consistently on a regular day of the week is key to web video series..
but with web tv coming to your tv and people like you tube moving toward series and professional episodic content..(slightly) longer form is where the market is going..
