The Leyio-New breed of USB devices launch in London

Last Thursday Beam PR launched the Leyio – a new type of USB device developed by a team in France. The most striking feature on the Leyio is the thumb print security protection which stops anyone but you accessing files on the device. Could this be invaluable to government departments’ who are prone to loosing USB’s with crucial information?

Apart from looking darn sexy the device responds to motion enabling you to ‘tennis’ files to each other at the flick of a wrist.

It would be nice if the device integrated with an iphone app as you can only share information with others who have the Leyio.

Newspepper.com was there to film the launch and demo the Leyio.

TechCrunchUK’s Mike Butcher on the Geekn’Rolla concept!

Geekn’Rolla really was top notch- Funky music playing between pannels and a free bar at Cafe de Paris for the afterparty- Cafe de Paris?… for a tech party?! Yes that’s right Mike Butcher pulled out all the stops to make Geekn’Rolla rock- Mike even got up on stage, played the drums and handed Geekn’Rolla champers. I always thought UK tech parties were a bit dull compared with the USA tech parties but Geen’Rolla was tres fun- more please!
