If you want to know who are going to be the next Butchers’, Zuckerbergs’ and Bransons’ you should of attended the Tomorrow’s Web Conference on Saturday. It was incredible how eloquent and business savvy and speakers were, all still in their mid teens and early twenties. What’s more incredible is the UK’s first ever Tech conference for teens was organized by 17-year-old Grant Bell who is already making a name for himself as a bright tech entrepreneur in London.
Milo (right) Jason and I judging on the startup pannel.
I was judging on the startup panel along with The Gadget Show’s Jason Bradbury and TechCrunch’s Milo Yiannopoulos, the quality of pitches were amazing and due to a combination of outstanding pitch, great idea and clever business model we crowned James Proud of GigLocator.com winner.
Here’s a little video with some quick interviews from Jason Branbury, some of the speakers and Milo announcing of the startup pitch winner.
You can check out the full list of the ones to watch here and Spoonfed’s Meg Fitz has done a nice long write up here
