High Growth: UK startup graze.com helps you eat healthy at work

Started by 7 friends who found they couldn’t eat the food they loved at work, UK startup graze.com was set up to encourage people to graze instead of lunch.
Recently announcing their £2M investment from the backers of LOVEFiLM.com, Octopus Ventures and DFJ Esprit, only six months after launch, the company is now delivering over 80,000 boxes per month and has over 15,000 subscribers.
For £2.99 per box they’ll deliver your choice of fruit, nuts and other healthy bits to your office as many times per week you’d like.
What’s great is they’ll only charge per box so you don’t have to sign up for a subscription and you can change the content or delivery date of your box through your online account.

PS: With this code you might be able to get a free box:  PY86B91A http://www.graze.com/ or if not your first one is half price.

With such good value for money and everybody and their dog wanted to get loose weight and get healthy, with the right marketing campaign I think graze.com could turn into the LoveFilm of the food sector. They should sponsor a major TV show like Channel 4′s You Are What You Eat.

  1. Thinny says:

I am looking for 1500 calorie food boxes – I mean exactly 1500 calories. Apparently calorie counters are the diet winners – does not matter how the calories are made up. I knew it.
1500 calories of pure protein puts on the same weight as 1500 calories of ice cream. – which would you eat?

  2. hermione says:

It may put on the same weight, but I’m sure the fat in icecream is a different kind to that of dried fruit and nuts- the unhealthy type of fat that raises cholesterol? I’m no expert though!

  3. Tim says:

Surely some kind of joke / spam comment from Thinny ?! yes there are good and bad fats!

  4. Athena says:

They used to say margerine good, butter bad – now its the opposite. But the whole idea of healthy eating packs -if genuine- is a good one.
Take Aero chocolate – they say its less calories. But thats only because of the air in the chocolate. What a scam.

  5. Riaz Kanani says:

arent the founders ex lovefilm themselves?

  6. hermione says:

yes i think they may be- more research needed!

  7. Rich Hunt says:

I signed up for the free trial – was ok, but not fantastic. Used the code B7QHLBG to get a free first box, but won’t be getting another one!

  8. Graze.com that helps you eat healthy at work is really very cool. Thank you for that help. Keep it up.
