Personally I class nerds and geeks the other way around. Nerds are knowledgeable techies with a social life, whereas geeks (rhymes with ‘freaks’) are the types that will be optimising their motherboard jumper settings on a Friday/Saturday night, with little regard for friends or hygiene. Geeks obsess about things (hence ‘film geek’ etc.) while nerds just have a natural talent.
By those definitions I’m more of a nerd, though am being quite geeky to be posting this!
how did you come to this conclusion – i always thought it was the other way round.
