Despite the masses flocking to their nearest Apple store to get their hands on the new iPhone, there is lots of frustration amongst the anti-Apple fan boys/girls who say the iPhone is all style over substance-
And they are quite right, lots of ‘new’ features on the new iPhone aren’t new technology at all, Apple is just great at repackaging the technology and marketing it in an attractive way. This video sent to me by @natts is a poke at the recent Applemania.. what do you think, is iPhone all style over substance?

The Iphone goes against the trend set by other mobile device manufacturers by going for the most intuitive, least frustrating user interface they can think of. In so doing everything you can do, however limited the choice is, you can do well.
This is what gives them the edge over other manufacturers and mobile phone operating systems.
What the Iphone offers now is what the Nokia N95 8GB and many other devices have offered for half a decade by now.

I tried an iPad the other week. I wasn’t used to the iOS interface at all and it was not the most intuitive or least frustrating UI I’ve used in the slightest – it completely depends what you’ve used before/regularly. I was used to always having a button to go back within the app I’m using, but with iOS it wasn’t always present and the top left of the screen wasn’t the natural place for me to look (back is bottom, surely, near where the home button is?).
Apple products do not do everything well that they are able to do – if that were the case users would never complain about call problems, or battery life, or crashes/lock-ups. No product is perfect – but only Apple pretends that theirs are.

RT @ceoSteveJobs: I heard the CEO of AT&T got married recently. The service was great but the reception was terrible.
Regarding the problem with calls dropping depending how you hold the iPhone 4, Apple are starting a new campaign: Grasp Different
