.Net Awards 2010 by Ubelly.com – the results are in!

On Thursday, 18th November, The Ministry of Sound hosted the second annual 2010 .Net Magazine Awards to celebrate the very best of the net. Ubelly.com was there to catch all the action! Dan Oliver, editor in chief of .Net Magazine was happy with the outcome of the event and was excited that they were able to “ramp up” this year’s awards a little more than last year. Some exciting new winners stood out from the rest, including Ravelry, winner of the Community Site of the Year Award, who was able to beat out both Facebook and Twitter in that category. Hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, other attendees included Jeffery Zeldman and Greg Hoy of Happy Cog, Eliott Jay Stocks of 8Faces, Martin Beeby of Microsoft, Faruk Ateş of Modernizr, and Robert Douglass of Drupal.

Andrew Spooner of Ubelly was at the event, chatting with attendees, nominees and winners. Check out the video to see who he caught up with and who the big winners were!
