What’s next for the Mobile Internet? European Leaders finds out!

European Leaders Presents Hot Topics: What’s next for the Mobile Internet? Final Cut from Newspepper on Vimeo.

“There is no hotter topic than the future of the mobile internet,” stated Ashley Ward, the director of the European Leaders. People
around the world are always asking, what’s next for the Mobile Internet? We can thank the European Leaders and Taylor Wessing for
presenting the Hot Topics: What’s next for the Mobile Internet debate on the 15th of September!

The hot topics that led the debate were: Smartphones and tablets go mass market, the social networking surge and its impact on SMS, mobile transactions—ready for prime time, and the rise of local search and augmented reality. These major issues are known by the experts as the key forces that will change the way people use mobile phones in the next 12 months.

This event was centered on bringing together mobile industry influences, experts, and thought leaders to discuss the changes that
are coming and to hear diverse viewpoints concerning this mobile industry. We were able to hear from some of these great minds from the
European Leaders ranging from Alberto Torres from Opera Software, Jim Buckle from LoveFilm, Magnus Nilsson founder of Izettle, to Daniel
Gelder from Metaio, Fred Becker from Skype, and numerous others.

Overall the European Leaders Performance through People’s presentation of Hot Topics: What’s next for the Mobile Internet was able to relay a vast amount of information from those in the know on all things mobile. The attendees were not only able to acknowledge past successes
from the mobile industry they now know what they can look forward to in the future!

The results are in for the world’s first iCommunity convention: JailBreakCon aka MyGreatFest!

JailBreakCon formerly MyGreatFest (Final Cut) from Newspepper on Vimeo.

The long awaited JailBreakCon formerly known as MyGreatFest took place this past Saturday, September 17, in the Old Truman Brewery in London. The world had been anticipating a face to face gathering of the iCommunity for some time and now that wait is over.

At JailBreakCon I met up with the leading thinkers and followers of this community to find out what they are looking forward to in the future of the Jailbreaking and iCommunity world and what makes them interested in this industry. It was great to see such a wide range of attendees from those merely attracted to technology to the actual developers and in between. From coders to hackers their were people from all sorts of diverse technological backgrounds and they were brought together by the event.

There were a number of presentations and discussions ranging from @Aaronash, @p0sixninja and @iOPK members of the Chronic-Dev team, to Carsten Heinelt aka @iFile4iPhone, James Whelton aka @Jwhelton, and Jay Freeman aka @Saurik the founder of Cydia.

To see more from the event go to http://mygreatfest.net/ and check it out! Although JailBreakCon formerly known as MyGreatFest was the worlds first ever iCommunity and Jailbreaking convention I am sure it will not be the last.

Brother UK launches exciting new marketing campaign and travels across Route 66 to ask ‘What does your label say about you?’

‘What does your label say about you?’ This is the tagline for the labelling campaign launched by UK electronics and manufacturing company, Brother. This campaign has been launched in support of the Brother UK labelling business. The team took a trip down the length of Route 66 between Chicago and Los Angeles and collected footage of the people they met along the way and asked how they would label themselves. The footage was shot over 30 days and was shown at the campaign launch event. The campaign takes a really interesting and exciting viewpoint of labelling and teaming up with Route 66 adds a cool and exciting theme.

The launch event embraced all things American with a Blues Band, roller skating waitresses and American themed decorations added to the atmosphere of the video marketing. The Brother Route 66 Campaign is such a clever and new way of reaching their target audience and showcasing the different labelling range they offer. Check out the above video of the Brother Route 66 Launch Event!
