Our very own, Sophie Mackaill, attended the launch party for Uni-verse.biz and here is what she found out for us. Uni-verse.biz is a brand new website that is designed specifically to help students plan out their night of fun, find accommodations, and reap the greatest benefits available to them. The site came to be because the CEO and co founder, Jon Nice, realized that their weren’t enough outlets and resources accessible to students for finding good deals and saving money while they attend university. The key aspect of the site is that it is exclusively designed for students in the Brighton area. Matt Hagger, the co founder and investor for Uni-verse.biz said that the city of Brighton is being used as a starting point to test out the website so who knows what the future will hold. Overall the site adds a social media edge to finding events and group discounts and will allow people to post pictures and comments about the locations they have found out about through the website.
Since its launch, Uni-verse.biz, has had hundreds of people sign up and they are already taking advantage of the benefits that it offers from finding out about potential jobs to learning about countless deals ranging from food, hotels, clubs, fashion, and everything in between.
