On October 21 I set off to The Driver in London to attend the launch party of the online web series Raptured. This 6 part web series is based around the end of the world but with a sort of twist. I was able to speak with the writer and director, Heather Taylor, to discuss what she thinks about online web series and how she came up with the idea of Raptured.
I also met up with the rest of the cast and crew members and found out their take on this innovative process. Their was an overwhelming consistency of likeminded thoughts when it came to what the guests and attendees felt towards the utilization of online web series as a whole. “Anybody can see it from all over the world and you can reach such a greater audience through online series as opposed to regular TV series.”
After the premiere of the first episode the crowd of guests had nothing but good things to say and were all looking forward to the future of the Raptured series.
