Jamie Meek is the talented and creative founder of Star of the Party, a first-of-its-kind entertainment company that transforms people from all walks of life into performing starlets at their own events.
Over his years of experience, Jamie has worked with celebrities and ‘normal folk’ alike. When I met Jamie it was clear to see how much enjoyment he gets from teaching people how to dance and perform with confidence.
We met up where he teaches: Antenna Studios. It’s a beautifully quirky, converted set of warehouses tucked in a leafy corner of Crystal Palace. We both agreed it wouldn’t look out of place in somewhere like Shoreditch, the London Borough of Quirk.
In this filmette I made Jamie explains his company’s concept and shows us some steps! Not only did I get to capture Jamie working on one of his most recent showcase projects, but I got to have a little lesson myself!
