Raiha Buchanan: Stockholm Correspondent

My name is Raiha Buchanan, I currently work as an online marketer during the day, and during the nights and weekends I organize Tweetmeetup. This is a small venture between me and a few twitter friends; plus two blogs and a few websites. I have called Stockholm home since October 2007, prior to this I lived in Australia for 2.5 years and I am a New Zealander by birth. So it could be said that I have a passion for the online and travelling. The reasons why I love Stockholm, is the entrepreneurial environment. There are new tech start ups born every day. We have a large number of highly educated thinkers- working abroad and bringing new philosophies to the city; there are a lot of experimental successes and venture capitalists willing to invest in these. My favorite Swedish start ups of the moment are: Bambuser, Spotify, Twingly and Workey. I look forward to introducing these and other mover and shakers in Sweden to the techfluff.tv crowd.
